We take the liberty to clarify “evil” as “loss” at its core first and foremost, as we are devoted to Every Student Succeeds, not just the ones who manage to look and act correct by the letter of “our” law, whatever that law happens to be this day and age.

Each time we look “evil” in the eye, we see hurt in disguise, calling for the salves of unarmed truths and unconditional love NOT ALWAYS OUR TURN TO SERVE.

In the summer of 2009, after 17 years collaborating with treatment center - public school teens, teachers, community, first as a psychiatric technician, second as a Social Studies teacher, third as an Instructional Coach getting schooled by then-AZ governor Janet Napolitano’s Master Teacher Mentor program to help teachers stay in the classroom when the profession is so challenging that many leave within 5 years….

…we went rogue for tolerance, subtle home - land security, sensing the parallel between teacher and parent (adoptive-birth-foster-inlaw-surrogate-wannabe), & our own need to heal the unaddressed losses caused by our relinquishment + adoption.

Imagining 1/2-bipoc us had gotten a second chance at life by way of our 1971 Cold War Border adoption, we thought we could pay it fwd to adolescents, but kept falling short, perpetuating violence cycles that discarded us initially + then systemically.

So, we began doing our personal work, observing it in private journals & public blogs.

We also joined as a volunteer Decades of Romany Inclusion + Spiritualism, finding heART to ensure NCLB + Every Student Succeeds, so every student adopts success, even us-youth-elders grief struck by loss, possessed by grief, authoritative amygdala cycling fear, flight, freeze, f***, fawn as “just how we do love in this house/nation”, even the ones who have crossed over to Papa Sky leaving us behind on Mama Earth.

In late 2022, glory b, we established a Folk Art Fortune Telling business, Witch to Take, licensed to tell since late 2020, primed and ready to re-enter the circle - dance of life in a very different capacity, integrating Shaman into our package in late 2023.
